A very large fire broke out in Hawley and needed many Big Country fire departments to contain. Unfortunately, Potosi was unable to send any apparatus to this fire, but a crew from PVFD was sent out late that evening to provide some relief to crews that had been on scene for upwards of 12 hours at that point. The Potosi crew was sent with another department's vehicle to work the fire line with the dozers well into the night.
